Our secret ingredient, Quark (pronounced “kwɑːk”), is a fresh European white cheese with a moist, creamy texture and subtle taste. It is often compared to a cross between yogurt and cottage cheese.
Quark cheese, a staple in German kitchens, is also naturally fat free, high in protein and gut friendly.
This unique, German inspired pastry has a perfect combination of richness, crispiness, slight sweetness and creaminess all at once – The Quark cheese makes for a perfect twist on a classic recipe for an elevated pastry experience!
Place frozen pastry on a tray, uncovered, and thaw at room temperature for approx. 1hr (never defrost the products in the case, or they could get crushed). Heat the pastry in a 350F oven between 5 to 8 min, until fully warm throughout.
*Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
